Dear applicants for the conference,
Submitted papers and abstracts have been reviewed by the expert team of the conference “Islam and human rights: theories and practices in contemporary Indonesia”. The task to evaluate about a hundred of applications, and make a selection out of these works, was not an easy one. In the process of selecting speakers we paid attention to the quality of the abstracts and the papers, the academic experience of the author, the field of research and the papers’ relation to the theme of the conference. In addition, the university or country of the applicant was taken into consideration.
Based on the above mentioned criteria we are happy to inform you that the following papers have been selected for the conference.
Official invitations, policy for grantees, and the conference programme will be sent to your emails on 22 February 2012.
For those unselected speakers, the committee would like to thank you for your interest in participating in the call for papers.

Gunung Nemangkawi di Timika sudah banyak lubang dan terowongan. Hasil emas, tembaga, perak dan uranium dibawa ke Amerika dan Indonesia. Lalu penduduk di atas gunung bijih tersebut dibawa ke dataran rendah kemudian punah dan tidak berkembang secara teratur. Sama halnya, Status politik Papua dibawa atau dialihkan kepada Indonesia dengan mengalihkan suatu peristiwa PEPERA 1969.
